There will need to be a risk assesment done for the video to make sure that there isn't any accidents and to make sure that there are a list of risks that we can hopefully avoid throughout the making of the video. This will be done by writing a risk assesment to try and prevent the risks happening it will help us so we know what may happen in advance and see ways of tackling the risks. It will mean that the people on set are away from harm and make sure that no one gets hurt and to make sure things run smoothly.
Risk: Car accidents
This would be highly unlikley to happen but we will need to make sure that the people in the car are wearing seatbelts and we will need to make sure that the person driving the car drives carefully. If this was to happen it would be a severe risk so we will make sure the driver drives slowley to prevent this from happening. The people at risk from this would be the people in the car, so the driver and the actor and the cast and crew.
Risk: Tripping over the set
This would be quite a likely event to occur so we will need to make sure that there is nothing to trip over when recording and we will need to make sure that bags are out of the way and we will need to make sure that we set the tripod up in a safe place so no body trips over it. This could be prevented by telling the actors and the crew of possible props and equipment which could be a hazzard to them so they won't trip over. The equipment is at risk because if someone trips over the tripod then the camera may get damaged. Can trip over camera wires so will need to be careful and make sure no equipment gets brocken. The actors and crew are at risk because it may mean that they get injured. We will need to make sure the area is clear of equipment.
Risk: Dropping the equipment
This is quite a likley risk so I would say that it is highly likely that it may happen accidently that something may drop e.g. The camera or the guitar, it is quite severe if this happens because it may mean that the camera breaks which would mean that we will need to find a different one and it may also mean that if the guitar breaks we may have already done some shots with one guitar and this will mean the guitars will be different in the music video which would make it unporffesional. The people at risk from things falling are the actors and the crew as it may fall on them and cause injury.
Risk: People colliding
We will need to make sure that people keep an eye out for others to make sure no one bumps into eachother. This isn't very severe but is quite likely of happening. We will need to make sure that everyone moves around safe and makes sure that they aren't carrying any objects which could hit into anyone.
Risk: Pulling a muscle or straining back when moving props
We will need to make sure that we are very careful when moving the props around and will need to make sure that the objects are carried one at a time and if some props are heavy we will need to get more than one person to help with it. I don't think that this will happen if we take one prop at a time.
Risk: Eyestrain and headaches
Editing on the computer for a long period of time may cause eye strain and headaches so we will need to ensure that we have breaks in between when editing the video on the macs.
Risk: Getting hit by a car
We will need to ensure that we are very safe when filming near roads and will need to make sure that we stay on the pavements when filming and also will need to make sure that we are sensible on the pavement and make sure nothing can fall onto the road.
